montagrier Posted September 14, 2006 Share Posted September 14, 2006 As I drive around dordogne I see all these great lakes but they are all fenced and reserved for the hunt etc.... I thought I would ask if any fishermen or women ( fisher person ) knows of any good lakes. I know of a couple where I am allowed to fish all year but I need some variation.I know I can fish the rivers and I do but I prefer to fish a good lake.Heres hoping....monti Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Your just going to have to move to the Auvergne or the Limousin where there are lakes galore full of fish just waiting to test your skill. Within 20 mins of our lake ( 7 hectares ) there are 4 municipal lakes and one other private lake. I understand that the Limousin boast that it is a fishermans paradise , what ever that means ?
