Maria
We are looking for a property in the Morhiban area which will allow us to hack our horses much more than here in the UK. In the latest Our Horse magazine however there is a letter which says quote `the riding is limited in Brittany, with most of the hacking including roadwork`unquote. If this is the case then the only advantage we would have would be the slightly better weather. Is this the true case and what areas are better for off road hacking than others? Are areas of the Loire/Atlantique better?
cooperlola
Superb here, Maria, cannot speak for Brittany. The Orne is good too.
Bugsy
Here in our bit of (86) is great for riding, miles and miles of bridal ways with only occasional roads to cross. Excellent farrier in the village and hay and straw is cheap. I've PM'd you with a bit more info.
