Benjamin
Mrs Benjamin hasn't been able to ride a bicycle for two years now but she fancies having a go on a tricycle. We've Googled but haven't come up with a great deal without having to spend serious money (600€ and upwards incl. delivery). What she would realy like to do is to try one before we buy.Does anyone have any ideas for this part of France or indeed on the off chance does anyone know of a trike for sale? dogwood
Hi is this the type of thing you are thinking of?Its a Pashley tricycle. They do tend to be expencive, I found this one on ebay at £180 with 3hrs to go.You can often find them at your local disabled speciaist. I know the one here at Ruffec Charente16 has them on display. You could probably get a "test ride" there to see if she gets on with it.Dogwood
ianf
Anyone used to riding a bicycle will find the adaptation to trike quite difficult. But get her out on the road and get her to persist! Great fun, though not for me.
Pierre ZFP
Full marks to Mrs B for wanting to try this. As was said on another thread, any kind of cycling is good! Best of luck to her (will she be entering La Tour next year? [;-)] )
Benjamin
Thanks for that dogwood. Your Pashley looks just the ticket. From your information I've looked up Handicapés : matériel et services pour in Pages Jaunes and got some likely looking addresses for the next time we're in Town. Thanks for the interest shown.
