starting a karate club in france

We are both black belt karate instructors and plan to open a club here in France and have found it is not as easy as it is in the UK!  We need to run it as an association ie. non profit making or we will be crippled by the cotisations.  Does anyone have any ideas

Our son takes karate lessons here and there does seem to be a shortage of teachers (he may need to miss next week as his normal teacher is away) so perhaps you could contact the assoc of karate in your area and do some work for them to test out the water get the inside line and then later set up on your own?  The link shows where the clubs are:

Thanks for your response.  We've got students lining up waiting to be taught, the probelm is the horrendous cotisations we'd have to pay, even though we'd only be training once or twice a week, it would be hard to make a profit.  So we are looking at setting up an association.  But wondered if anyone else has experience of this?
