Russethouse
After what must counted as a fantastic debut season, can he actually win this afternoon ?
cooperlola
I'd be quite happy if Massa won and Hamilton were second - the World Championship is what will count. I think it would be a good outcome for the two drivers who seem to have kept their heads down and just got on with their jobs while everyone around them is losing their heads, to take the top two steps.Whatever, a black world champion could do wonders for race relations all over the place - just as Tiger Woods has done in the golfing world. If nothing else, that would make this a momentus outcome. And in his rookie season too.
Gardian
You somehow had a feeling that this wasn't going to be 'our' weekend, didn't you?
Mr Coeur de Lion
All 3 are champions in my eyes. One point in it is nothing really. But what is it with English sport and constantly failing to finish things off? Hemanitis?Still, the English do hold the conker world championship trophey[;-)]
Iceni
Interesting (?) tactics by Hamilton's crew1. Don't bring him in China despite tyres falling to pieces2. When he's way behind in Brazil bring him in for an extra pit stopThe driver who won the most races also won the championship so he's the best and deserved it - well done Ferrari too, having the FIA in your pocket is a shrewd move.Well done Hamilton, at the beginning of the season not too many thought you would get so close. As for Alonso, your whining because a newbie has beaten you and alleged attempts to blackmail your team over e-mails have done you little credit. Perhaps it's time for a career change ?Johnnot
altyfc
Regardless of the outcome, Hamilton did superbly well in his first season in F1. All eyes will no doubt be on him next year, with many expecting him to win the title.
raindog
Depends if McLaren produce another good car and the FIA deem it to be sufficiently non Ferrari.
