Ian Posted March 11, 2008 Author Share Posted March 11, 2008 Hi BettyIt was a bit of both. I ran the half-marathon ... it was perfect weather: cool but the rain held off. The route isn't as prestigious as the marathon (in April) but all of Paris is beautiful.The first half of the race was very congested (too many runners overestimating their speed and starting too far up the queue!) so I ran the second half quite a bit quicker (unusally). All in all the organization was good and I'd recommend it as a good early spring half for people getting ready for their April marathons (Paris, London, Madrid, Rotterdam, Boston et al).It was a good excuse to spend a week in Paris too - my wife and I had a fantastic time. were you in Paris yourself?
