tuppence
Hi,Just wondereing if the rules re: doing 2 brocantes a year still applies? If so does it mean you can only do 2 in your area or can you do more by travelling further afield? Got so much stuff to sell from an earlier life, don't think 2 will suffice[:(] thankstuppence
Gastines
2 a year is supposed to be the limit unless you register as a professional. We do one each year and I think there have been so many complaints from dealers about people doing it on the side that most organisers now want a copy of your passport when you book a pitch. We have even had the Gendarmes coming around checking details . The other option if you have furniture or any bigger items is to put it in a Depot-Vente. Bear in mind they add 30% to your asking price,if they take it, and lower the price by 20% each month untill it sells.Regards
pachapapa
How about the Mega Broc' at Lille in the autumn; not so far away from Pas de Calais.
tuppence
Thanks for the replies, looks like I may have to use other friends cars as that is what they look at more than passport details. As for going to Lille in September, I may live in Pas de Calais but by the time I have paid petrol, overnight hotels (at least 2) and stand fees I may as well go back to the UK for a week and sell there!![:-))] Sadly the things I want to sell don't fall into "Lille" prices.tuppence
