Loiseau
Hello Audbarn, and welcome to the forum.I have been in a balloon over the Vendee with this outfit:http://www.la-montgolfiere.com/mongolfiere.phpwhich also covers Deux-Sevres, and it was a great experience. We were lucky, and the flight happened on the day booked, whereas the pilot had had to put off lots of other people in earlier weeks because of bad meteo. It was magical in the post-dawn light, wafting over the red-roofed villages as kids were walking to school; and everybody waves to you. It's delightfully hands-on, in that we helped to hold the balloon open as it inflated, and afterwards had to give a hand folding it up.It wasn't exactly "champagne flight" style - which I found rather endearing. Once all was packed away, our pilot - Damien - produced a folding table which he covered with a decorative tea-towel. Then he opened a thermos of black coffee which we sipped along with some slices of "industrial" Vendee brioche !AngelaAngela
