Any rock/pop musicians about

Hi

I'm fairly new to the area -

Angouleme. I'm in my 40s and work

(animation) so looking for similar persons (30/40/50s) but who still

have the music bug. I play guitar (lead and rhythm), sing/harmonise and write

stuff too. I've played in bands and busked but a while ago.

I was

wondering if there were any other guitarists/bassists or drummers in

the area up for jamming or band and social.

Influences - Beatles Stones Hendrix Zeppelin Yardbirds Kinks and generally bluesy stuff and some folk too.

I had intended to post this group  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bluehouse/61860278459  a little while ago, but just never got around to it, however today I was reminded by the announcement of the death of the driving force Steve Blackman. Sad indeed, he was a great character and the gigs I went to just south of Angouleme were great, they were due to play 9th June, so no reason not to contact them via the site or go along perhaps, good luck, let me know what transpires.
