Loiseau Posted January 27, 2013 Share Posted January 27, 2013 The first two competitors in the Vendee Globe round the world sailing race have arrived at Les Sables d'Olonne within less than 4 hours of each other. And in record times, too. I don't think anyone has ever got back before February before.I've been glued to the "live feed" for much of the day. The arrivals are always so emotionally charged - specially the night-time ones.I'm specially happy, since I drew Gabart in a sweepstake back in November! I was a bit cheesed off at the time, as I had never heard of him, and had been hoping to draw Mike Golding...:-))Angela Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
