Scooter
HiI am trying to find out where my friend can hire road bikes - but club quality for going over the cols. He doesn't want a mountain bike, he wants a good quality road bike. I cannot find anywhere - help please?

Scooter
Thanks for replying so quickly. It is too far East unfortunately but looks lovely. They are flying in to Toulouse and then heading straight here to stay with us for a week so anywhere in/around Toulouse or en route to St Gaudens and Bagneres de Luchon would be great - I cannot find anything at the moment.Appreciate your help. DerekJ
You could try signing up for the Bike Radar forums http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/Go to the Road section and then try asking in either General or Tours, routes and Organised Rides. There's a lot of good knowledge there and aside from the usual forum bickering, peiople are usually quite helpful.

DerekJ
Just to follow up... I just googled bike hire Pyrenees.I'd get your friends to do the same. There are loads of bike hire places around that hire out road bikes. It's probably best they do it themselves then (as I presume they have cycling knowledge) they will be able to evaluate the bikes on offer. Some decent enough bikes seem to be listed. The usual format is that people bring their own pedals.
