Well done Ireland but sad to see Scotland lose badly in Cardiff.

I was very, very wrong!

It’s usually awful there, but and the best thing you could say is that the visiting England supporters probably had a good weekend in Rome.

Today however was somewhat different. If you watched it, there’s not much more I could say about an excellent match. We were worthy winners, but the scoreline was a bit harsh on Italy. They were better than that & will maybe spring a surprise against somebody.

Exactly how could the French have changed their game management to have saved the game in stoppage time? Their hands were tied. Ireland were playing low risk (most of the time) possession rugby and waiting for a kicking opportunity. Any foul play by France would have played directly into Ireland’s hands. The kick when it came had to be good. It was.

I question the HIA call as the Fr. player was limping off the pitch . Knee injury definitely but then he was clearly told to point to his head.........really?
