There are usually a couple of places near us where enthusiasts set up telescopes and are available to explain to the public what they are seeing and to point out the most interesting sights to be seen.

Alas this year, covid has put paid to that.  So OH and I intend to drive somewhere, equipped with blankets and sleeping bags, without any lights to have a look.
