Joh Posted May 16, 2004 Share Posted May 16, 2004 The foliage comes up first and dies down in the Summer. This is the time to dig up the bulbs. Dry them in the sun or a shed for a couple of months and then cut off the tops about 1" above the bulb.Seperate the sections, remove the dry skins and store in mesh bags (old tights from the wife) or tie to string.
