Deby
Hello and Joyeuse PacquesThis past week we have had frost in the mornings and am uncertain now when to plant my lettuces/colfleurs etc. My seedlings look as if they are in need of being planted. Also does anyone have a good website where I can look up insects to check whether friend or foe? I have alot of beetle/mothlike (Red and black backs) in my organic vegetable patch and am not at all sure what they are - they are very common I know this. Any advice would be well appreciated.Deby
Iceni
Di says pick up the red and black beetle thing and if it bites it's a Gendarme. No idea whether they are friend or foe - there's a heck of a lot of them here too. In the pharmacy at Laval de Cere (46) there's a poster with lots of pics - no doubt that will explain all.I just typed "beetles" into Google search and it claims to have found 533,000 English pages - so a bit of refinement might be needed.
