I had an ECHO petrol model that i bought at a proper garden equipment shop. I was advised re the 'balance' when it is in hand and also the centrifugal forces that exist when in use (try holding a spinning bicycle wheel in one hand and moving it about??)If you only use it for 10 minutes a time a few times a year I would imagine a cheap eletric one will be fine, if you intend using one for 10 yrs or more, i'd spend a bit more and buy a petrol one.
