Paul Carmel
Hi,We have a grafted mulberry tree, bearing in mind we are very southerly (Corsica) does anyone know when we should prune the branches? Also we have a large yucca palm with a thick (20-25 cm diameter) which is next to a wall in which cracks are starting to appear. Should we cut it right down to the base of the trunk or just the main branches (it splits into two)? Any advice gratefully received.CheersPC
Tresco
You can cut a Yucca at any point and it will regrow, but if that's what is causing the cracks in the wall I would get it out of there. The mulberry, I posted in reply to Saligo Bay fairly recently about that, (probably a page back on this forum) but not knowing anything about your conditions down there I hesitate. Is there a neighbout you could ask?
