Wilko
Hi: i have planted 6 choisyas, mexican orange blossom, which the book says are problem free! One has died and the others are looking malade. all the leaves are starting to go yellow from the bottom upwards. the only 2 things that I acn think of that might have caused this are overwatering or horse manure that was too fresh. the beds were dug to 2 spade depths, manure and grit added to top soil, the plants well watered in, however we had 3 days of heavy rain soon afterwards. they have been planted around 3-4 weeks.any help much appreciatedThnakx wilko
Iceni
Probably the horse **** but you don't say how much you have watered since the 3 days heavy rain nor how hot it has been in yr dept.New manure is fine for rhubarb instead of custard but not much else, though we have planted potimaron direct into the heap - time will tell if we are too brave.Johnand
