Happy Expat
Over the past few days we have been plagued by hordes of wasps outside. We have tried to trace the source but failed and have sprayed the stone walls outside with a suitable waspicide (if that's the right word). Any advice on tracing the nest or source is most welcome please.Bob & Jane (47)
JP1
Hi,Try looking on the ground also, we recently had a large nest of wasps set up home in a mole hole in the lawn.Looked at loads of the chemical killer sprays to find that they weren't supposed to be used on grass so had to find an alternative solution, in the end I went out at 6 am with a bucket of quick drying cement and tipped it down the hole before they had chance to sound the alarm.Job donegood luck in your searchregards.JP
Ianhaycox
We had a hornets nest that we tracked down by following the hornets at dusk. There was a constant stream of black dots against the evening sky. Apparently thay return home at sunset, maybe wasps behave the same way.So grab a beer and stake out the garden.
