French Novice
I know this is a bit of a long shot but do you know of someone who can weave green willow into fencing to go around a veggie patch? I would like something natural to keep out the rabbits and deer that have decided to invade our garden. We're on the border of 33/47. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Ty Korrigan
Hello, this is something I offer to my clients although not to keep out deer and rabbits... You may as well plant a lettuce hedge...Priced per cane plus support materials plus time etc. I am however in 22 so its only worth my while if its a very large job. Good luck. Tresco
The lettuce hedge thing was funny Ty!I've put a sort of chain link type fence round the patch, and planted a mixture of climbers on it (scented roses, passion flowers etc). I've got giant fennel planted around it till the climbers really get going. It won't look completely natural for a year or so, but I get to eat my own veg in the meantime.
