Wendy
Im sure this has been covered at some stage but need help. my son is very proud of the beans and peas he's been growing but there's some holes in the leaves. I think its snails. Is there a home-made recipe for anti snail stuff?. Or a non chemical pesticide in general?.
Pads
www.greenpestco.com I use nematodes you mix it with water , then water in the area where you dont want slugs, it last for months and is very good, the down side is :it is a natural predator of the slug and kills them is a horrible way (so it depends on how fond of slugs you are)

Pads
I have put a web site on my last notice there are many more websites and some seed catologues sell them also.(mainly organic ones)Its a greenway of killing slugs which dosnt affect any other form of wild life its none poisonious to cats kids, dogs ect...It is a natural predator of the slug, it gets inside of it and kills it, its quite amazing stuff, and last a lot longer than it says on the packet, the only thing that seems to kill it is the cold, it is the only thing that i have found that actualy works, you can also bye from the same place natural predators to green fly red spider mite and other things. check out the web site. good luck with the slimy critters
