Val_2
All bank "incidents" from being in debt to the bank in any way, shape or form are recorded with the Banque de France automatically and are left on record until the bank in question who raised the matter deems the affair is finished and will then cancel the incident but you personally must enquire as to whether it has been lifted or not and if now OK, ask the bank to do so. Any outstanding loan is just that, outstanding so yes, if you owe money you must pay up but I suggest you arrange a meeting with your bank and discuss the matter face to face to get it settled once and for all, it is in both yours and their interest to do so immediately!
