Robert S Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 I am trying to find somebody locally (in the Charente) who can provide me with topsoil, as I want to re-seed an area of poor quality grass (more weeds than grass) and the natural soil is too hard and stony to work properly. Does anybody know what heading I should look at in Pages Jaune? The nearest I can find is Terrassements, but this seems to be more to do with excavations and site clearance. Benjamin Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 Welcome to the forum Robert S.We've recently had a ditch between us and the lane piped and backfilled.Thiery,the local digger man, is listed under Travaux publics (enterprises) in Yellow Pages. He filled in with pretty awful clay soil but then came along with a slightly better quality top soil.As it's for a lawn environment you probably need to talk to him/her (Thiery's wife drives a machine also) to get the required soil quality.Benjamin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
