Jonzjob
Does anyone know what allo vera is called in French and where can a plant be bought in our area please.
Cassis
Same name - it's Latin. "Aloë vera" pronounced something like "alloway vayrah" by the locals. I've seen it in Coté Nature garden centres among the indoor plants.

Cassis
You're right, Clair. But there are lots of types of aloe, not just aloe vera. Aloès, like aloe, refers to the whole family. The best way to be sure is to look for the proper Latin name on the label, unless you know it by sight.
