londoneye
HiHas anyone tried growing above in a container? I have spent about 3 hours on net but can't find much information. I wanted to grow one to around 2 metres high, to go behind some pots and troughs in a certain area of the garden (or what will be the garden when i stop thinking about it and actually do it !).Reason i would like a pot is to restrict the growth if possible. I have read that these mimosa are fairly frost hardy, so it seems ideal, although also havent been able to find a picture of the full tree to see the form. JayJay
We had one that did very well in a container, for about 5 years until high winds got hold of it & wrecked it. It was situated by a wall, so protected from the frost, just not from the wind. [:(]
