Jeanneclaire
Folks I am sorry this is an old question I know, but can someone please tell me what the French is for Perlite, I have been unable to find it in the the builders merchants, and my husband came home with a 500g bag of perlite from Point Vert for 7euro!!! at which rate, we will be bankrupt before the growing season is half way over!! I thought the name was the same in both languages, but I am obviously wrong. I live in 81.jeanneclaire
Tony F Dordogne
HiI bought perlite and vermiculite in Jardiland last Friday, called just that and it was expensive but not that expensive. Try a Gamm Verte or France Rurale, they may be cheaper.
Pierre ZFP
Called the same in Point Vert too. I seem to recall it wasn't expensive. Also picked up a huge (18Kg) bag of lawn Weed 'n Feed there for 26 euros.

Goo_Rat
Hi I don't know if you have a builders merchant that is part of the "Tout Faire Material" group/franchise near you. I got a 25kg sack of vermiculite from mine, cost about 10euros and was absolutly huge (coz it weighs next to nothing)SInce then I have found lots of other uses for it[:-))] - mostly involving cement or plaster thought!
