Pierre ZFP
It's Bunny's Ears !At least that's what I've always known it as, don't know the proper name though, sorry.
Oldie
Thanks Pierre - Googled for it, but found only reference to Cacti. The leaves on my plant are very very soft - like velvet (and also my Great Dane's ear!).I'll do some more checks.
Clair
I've got some of those...They grow a single tall stem with yellow flowers at the tip, like this one (2nd down) in Denman's garden. Can't remember the name though...[:$]

Oldie
Thanks again to all. They may call it a weed, but I like it. No idea from whence it came - probably a bird dropping.
Jonzjob
[quote user="Oldie"]Thanks again to all. They may call it a weed, but I like it. If they are happy where they are they throw up an incredible flower as one of ours did. The leavev would make a wonderful fur lining. They are so soft!!They don't like getting too wet and get most of their moisture from the moist air, trapping it in the hairs on the leaves. What wonderful plants.Nurse, can I go and lie down now please [8-)]?
Oldie
Hi Jonzjob - this one suddenly appeared on our filter bed, which is why I thought perhaps the birds had brought it. Wherever it came from, it's doing no harm and is certainly not out of keeping in the garden.
