Colin
I have had a swimming pool built this summer in my garden and been left with 4 banks of earth around the pool which need levelling. The soil is hard clay and very hard when dry , i am hoping to hire a compactor to level this earth and other areas in my garden . Can you hire compactors in France for this type of job ? Can anybody recommend hire companies [ national or specifically in dept 64 Pyrenees Atlantiques ] for this type of equipment . ?Thanks in anticipation. powerdesal
I wouldn't think a compactor (wacker plate) is ideal for this, especially if you want to grow anything in the area afterwards. Would you not be better using a rake and establishing a fine tilth to allow growth, unless of course you are tiling / slabbing / paving.
