Chris_Haze
We have this disease on our peach and nectarine trees, they bore lots of fruit last year but there was a serious amount of leaf drop. In the UK I would have been spraying with Dithane now, but have not found anything similar in the shops here. Can any of you experts recommend a product I could use to control this disease please? Many thanksHazel
BJSLIV
Dithane is available http://www.plantes-et-jardins.com/catalogue/catalogue4.asp?id_variations=2371Try the more serious agricultural shops such as Gamme Vert, rather than the hypermarkets or garden centres. If you want something greener , and less noxious you could always try the old Bordeaux Mixture (Copper Sulphate) spray. Colonel Mustard
You are probably too late to spray now. You should have done this about a month ago. Everything earlier than in England!
hoverfrog
Fertiligène make a product called "Cloque du Pecher", which can be used from February to June and Sept to November. You can't use it within 75 days of harvest.I found it very effective on full-blown peach leaf curl about May last year.Available in garden centres, DIY stores, etc.
Chris_Haze
Thanks for the advice I will check out Gamm Vert as they have a branch near us to see if they have 'Cloque du Pecher' as this seems the best bet as I've left it a bit late for the other product. mooky
I won't use anything on my plants that isn't completley natural. I was advised to steep dried horsetail plants in water for a day or to then spray three times. Maybe just luck but so far no peach leaf curl over four years.
