scotty
It still has all it's leaves, so does not seem to be deciduous, which are shaped like a Zulu shield 50mm x 25mm, shiny dark green on top and a lighter green underneath, a very tiny tooth at the end of each vein, a very small needle point at the tip, staggered stem.Anyone recognise it? Patf
Possibly a smooth-leaved holly. We have one in our garden. It has never had any berries that we have seen. This picture is the nearest I could find, showing the shape of the tree:http://www.archiemiles.co.uk/Images/Holly/am_Ilex%20altaclarensis%20'Camelliifolia'%20Temple%20Newsam%20Yorks.jpg
