ukhostland
Going to any garden shows in France this year? Why not tell us all about it?I'm just back from the plant fair at the Chateau de Beauregard, a great Rotary event near Blois. Here's a poster about the next one I have planned (unless I find out about something else before then): Chateau de la Ferte St Aubanhttp://www.gardendesignfrance.com/assets/chateau%20de%20la%20ferte-tracts%202009.pdfColin the Gardener
Mr Coeur de Lion
We went there Sunday ourselves. Took our dogs, was quite good. Looking to go to more over the summer.I understood it was supposed to be about fushia (sp) this year, but might be mistaken as we didn't find one! buelligan
...I enjoy going to garden shows and small independent nurseries very much. Was a keen plant-luster in the UK for many years but, since moving to France, I have been too busy with fascinating activities such as plastering to do much more than make a reasonable but very straightforward veg garden. Do you know of any websites or other sources of information on shows/nurseries in my area (Languedoc) please..? [:)]
Tony F Dordogne
They're all in many of the French gardening diaries and Rustica have a list of the major fairs every week.
