I use these type of kit for growing on beans broad beans sweet peas and the like and once converted you will never change.  (for those who perhaps do not know the product it cuts back on root disturbance and the like.

However hitherto they are not available in France but having chatted to the manufacturer and the French agent I think I will be able to get bulk shipments thus reducing costs to the French Agent and he will supply to those interested at less than retail prices.  This is not my business I do not receive nor would accept any payment be it in kind or otherwise for this service just simply trying to reduce my costs.

Is this of interest please.

Moderators this is not touting for business I will simply put those who are interested in touch with the French agent.

They are already imported so you might want to make sure it's worthwhile by checking out the prices of the existing suppliers in France:

I've got some that I no longer use if anyone wants them - a bit dirty and worn but free to collect.

The problem with all the links above is the price as far as I'm concerned, they are far too pricey and if DR can get them shipped over in bulk, that would be brilliant especially if the price is reduced..

I think that Rootrainers are the dogs doodles and as DR says, once used it's so difficult to go back to anything else.

The French agent (from whom I ordered in 2006) took 6 months to forward them to me and when I spoke to the manufacturer, they told me my order was despatched as soon as they received it - the agent had held the order and my cheque for 6 months!  When I ordered direct they were slightly less that the retail price but the postage costs were prohibitive.

DR, if you can make it work, good luck to you!
