hakunamatata
I have a new peach tree which the nursery tell me is 2 years old. It has had lovely blossom and now boasts several peaches. However we have the dreaded lurgey (peach leaf curl). I have taken off the affected leaves and sprayed with bordelaise. Is there anything else I can do? ventodue
Not now, I don't think.Next year, remember to spray the copper sulphate early in the year BEFORE bud burst - the fungus that causes the affliction winters on the surface of the closed buds.P.s For more, go here http://www.totalfrance.com/france/forum/viewtopic.php?t=64847&highlight=AmicalementCraig
Cat
I think I'm going to give up on peach trees. We have 3, all bought nearly 3 years ago, and last year we sprayed, but they got the "clop" anyway (not that it made much difference anyway as the late frosts killed any hope of fruit). This year we sprayed twice, in early spring, but nevertheless they are beginning to show signs of leaf-curl [:@]
