CeeJay
This is the first winter we have stayed here in Herault, normally we trot back to UK about middle of November and return here end of April. So what I am looking for is a sowing calender for this neck of the woods. I feel I should be doing something in the garden, all the beds are dug and manured and raring to go. I am quite familiar what happens in UK but everything here seems to be advanced by a couple of months.Any help please or point me in the right direction? JayJay
This site is very good, just click on one of the 4 choices for your situation. It's on Montagnard at the mo. http://www.plantes-et-jardins.com/magazine/calendrier/index.asp?id_zone=4&id_location=1&long_day=40174&id_week=

Swissie
Montagnard should be shaded white not green! Our garden is definitely white - under 1 m of snow- and there won't be any planting for quite some time!
