Swissie
Can anybody recommend any good gardening/plant catalogues in France? Merci. Plants here in Switzerland are ridiculously expensive, so as I live very close to the border, could get them delivered to a friend in France. Patf
I've had things from Baumaux, and Willemse are supposed to be good too:http://www.graines-baumaux.fr/75615/TOMATE+KOKOPELLI.htmhttp://www.willemsefrance.fr/

Gardian
www.jardinexpress.com We've ordered from them for the 4th time this Spring - never had a problem. They also have a carte de fidelite scheme, which this yr gives us a €15 discount (we normally order about €100's worth between us and our neighbour). Plants are delivered by coli in a good stout box: cost of delivery is €5.90 irrespective of order size, but I see that it's only €10.40 to anywhere else in Europe, so you could just go for dlvry to your home.www.iis-france.com They do a good garden equipment catalogue: you know the sort of thing - peat pots, lawn edging, etc. Loads of stuff, but looks pricey to me. Chancer
Most people from my region of France go to Belgium to buy plants and save pots of dosh, as you are looking for vente par correspondance and les Belges seem so much more commercial than the French you might want to look there. Gemonimo
There is always www.jacques-briant.fr/ who will bombard you with catalogues but their plants are a good quality. I bought three rose bushes (Greta) from them for my daughter's wedding bouquet as the colour was the same as the roses on the shoulder of her dress and I wasn't disappointed. Is it still snowing in the Jura Swissie?
Swissie
YEP! Thanks for the link Gemonimo. Off to the Swiss Alps this week, to a place called Loèche-les-bains, a spa/ski resort. No more holidays planned for a while then!
