NormanH
Reminds me also of Belle de nuit, found all over in front of cottages here; has alot of fragrance in the eveninghttp://www.google.fr/imgres?imgurl=http://lesjardinsdeve.midiblogs.com/images/medium_belle_de_nuit_rose.JPG&imgrefurl=http://lesjardinsdeve.midiblogs.com/archive/2006/06/14/belles-de-nuit.html&h=270&w=360&sz=22&tbnid=aVC61U08UIbPPM:&tbnh=104&tbnw=138&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dbelle%2Bde%2Bnuit%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=belle+de+nuit&usg=__yAnfEUZFDU21q4BpyJ3DpAYfkyQ=&sa=X&ei=e5gMTqf4HsKWhQfJ1a3RAg&ved=0CDYQ9QEwBQ&dur=
ukhostland
No, its not Nicotiana , its Mirabilis jalapa (Belle de Nuit for the French, Marvel of Peru to some), as someone has said. Its a scented, South American plant which can become a bit of a weed. Poisonous too, but pretty.Colin
