mogs
This is the first year for us with this hedging and I am just wondering why ours, and most in the village have flowers, tiny white ones. Yet we have seen some locally without flowers. Do we cut these flowers off?
Jonzjob
Cut 'is flowers off [:-))]That would have been cruel!! We have a red robin just outside our lounge window. We have never cut the flowers off, only pruned it when the leaves have turned from red and the flowers gone over. The butterflies like it and so do we. It's a fair bit bigger than the photo now!!edit : - Just as a matter of interest. The old saying that a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush is rubbish! A bird in the hand does it on yer wrist, believe me[geek][geek]
