JB_2019
The French buyer of my French property has requested compensation for works they have had to undertake to remedy faults they claim were not revealed before the purchase. (At this stage lawyers are not involved.) Whilst I intend to resolve this amicably I would like to know if she can pursue me legally now I'm living back in the UK. The property was held in an SCI which has since been dissolved.
NormanH
I am no lawyer, but there seem to be three issues here.1) Vice caché 2) A property owned as a SCI3 Whether someone living back in the UK can be sued by someone in France.I know nothing about number 2, but 1 and 3 are possible
