I intend to do the cooking myself and have always cooked on gas, but as we do not have mains gas in the new house we decided to opt for an all electric cooker. Now, when we spoke to our local DIY store (Weldom) and others in Niort (region 79) they all point to the one make which is SMEG and costs around 4,500 which is over our price range. We are looking for a cooker which has at least 4 rings, a hot place, double oven and seperate grill - does anyone have any ideas?Thank youAndy.--------------------http://www.sompt.com
Mikew
What is the rating (in kilowatts) of your EDF supply, and that of your proposed cooker full on? Will your supply stand it? Why not use bottle gas, then you can cook as you are used to, perhaps with an electric oven.M
