But you could try these hotels in Alencon, half an hour to the north - doubt if you'll find anything in Le Mans. Unfortunately the number of people wanting to go to Le Mans swelled this weekend to 8 and that has made our search doubly difficult so we have decided to forget it for this year and book earlier next time. Either look at www.angloinfo.com, go into the Normandy section and you will see my post and the replies under Accommodation wanted. I also have a lady who contacted me and she has a couple of gites nearby that she would be prepared to rent. Let me know if you want the details. I could probably find you a few more.
