Cat7139
I've been doing a Google search to try and find some user friendly statistics for tourism in France and can't seem to find anything useful. I'd like to find out the most popular destinations/regions, length of seasonal visits, visitor spend, transport statistics etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me a brief synopsis about their region? This is just for my information/interest only so I can compare the rest of France to us here in Bresse, South Burgundy.Thank you,Catherinewww.pictureburgundy.com
Cerise
Catherine - have received a load of 'bumph' from Midi-Pyrenees which quotes some national statistics. I will see if I can find out what their sources are and report back. Not promising, but usual friendly face at 'pays' headquarters is often good at that kind of thing. Cassis
We just received a detailed breakdown of tourism for the Sarthe in a glossy brochure prepared by the Comité Départmental du Tourisme. Far too much to repeat! I'll see if I can find it online.
