Yvonne
Can anyone answer a straight forward (I think) question? Am I correct in thinking that a 10 (20 people) bedroom ski chalet (offering 1/2 board accomodation) would fall into hotel regulations? Or, do they have their own set of 'special' regs?? Thanks, abi
Cassis
Chambre d'hotes are limited to 5 rooms after which serviced accommodation is classed as a hotel (and must comply with hotel regs: fire doors, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency exit routes, etc.). Miki
Added to what the Soz states, it is also 15 person maximum for any Ch D'Hôte.
Cassis
Which is very annoying for French families wanting to cram 4-5 people into rooms meant for 2 or 3. [;-)]
