Aly
Hi can anyone clearly clarify the position re additional tv licenses for chambre d'hotes/gites? I have looked at the site and others but there seems to be debate and confusion!
Sunday Driver
Here is the position according to the French impots - clear and non-confusing......Si vous détenez plusieurs postes dans vos résidences (principale ou secondaire), vous ne payez qu'une seule redevance.New for 2008:If your Gite/CdH is situated in a rural revitalisation zone, then you may apply for exemption from tax d'habitation (and TV licence). Details are set out in tax guidance note 1205-GN-SD which you can obtain from HERE
BJSLIV
Not sure its quite that simple. It depends whether you are a B&B renting out rooms in your own house., or if you are renting out a dedicated property (gite). It alsodepends on your registration, your VAT status, inside leg measurement............http://revuefiduciaire.grouperf.com/article/3109/hb/rfiduchb3109fisred01.html
