Does this mean that we can no longer post addresses or phone numbers for any kind of business?  Like if someone is looking for a salvage yard?  I thought the rules only forbade promoting or putting up details of one's own business?

Garden Girl posted the contact details (tel # and email add, including full name) of a person who, according to Garden Girl, may or may not still have been in business.

Whilst it is perfectly fine to make a third-party recommendation, in this instance, sending an email or a PM is preferable to posting someone else's name, email add and tel number on a public forum.

That should be fine Cassis, as long as it's not your own [:)]

If someone wants to hire a digger, find an equine vet or talk to EDF (for example) then posting details isn't a problem.  I suppose that if a business is listed in the Pages Jaunes then the contact details could be said to be business rather than personal (although madam whiplash on the top floor at number 83 might be a bit of a grey area) [;-)]
