Yvonne
[:P]Has anyone else had this latest bogus booking.........7 greek priests want a 7 night break?! I presume the reference to the catholic church is supposed ot make it believable. Yeah, sure, I'll give you my bank details!Last year we had an enquiry for 8 'glamour' models on a 7 day photographic assignment.......We live near a ski resort at 1000m altitude...........can't picture either, can you?!Ho ho.[;-)]
woolybanana
Nine lords a leaping, a couple of French hens and that blood* partridge. Seems too silly to even be a starter. Why do they bother?
Thebiga
They bother because they enjoy money for nothing. Someone, somewhere will always be taken in by these people unless they are on the french forums then they would know.
Juleyandpaul
Hi,Yes we had the same email yesterday. My husband and I were trying to picture the six priests in the double beds together and were wondering how they would choose who shares with who !!!Someone no doubt will get taken in by it.Having read the replies to this link the promise of eight glamour models may have made my husband lose his suspicious mind and replied rather promptly me thinks !Juleywww.villechenoux.co.uk
Cerise
I got a request for a party of nuns - maybe they might like to team up with Greek priests!![:D]
Pierre ZFP
Just as long as they don't meet up with that bunch that had the punch-up in Jerusalem [:D]
cassis
Yes, that one gave us a laugh when it dropped in the box, too!I guess there may be somebody somewhere who falls for these things. There's a French owners forum where you can regularly see owners posting copies of obvious hoax requests, yet they are asking whether these whacky emails are for real. I'm waiting for the Greek priests to appear there. [:D]

cassis
Hardly one of the more subtle efforts, is it? [:D] [:D] [:)]But precisely the kind of poop that I was talking about people asking about on the other place. Are you sure you didn't lift it from there? [:D]The country code (225) is Ivory Coast, like the address. They get very long vacations there.
Quillan
Nah arrived this morning with all the other garbage, trouble is they have so many sending them all with different names, numbers etc but exactly the same text. Not wishing to sound racist but I assume the Ivory Coast is to France what Nigeria is to the English speaking nations. Makes you wonder if anyone 'bites' but then I doubt they would ever admit it. Thebiga
I would imagine that no one would admit it, but as I said someone must be caught otherwise they would just give up as it would be a waste of time. A year or so back I had a e-mail from someone that I had done business with in the past saying that they had been stranded in some country and had handbag containing all money and passport stolen. they were basically asking for £1500 to get them back from the place they were etc. They had to pay the hotel for where they were and a flight back etc Anyway I came to the conclusion that someone must have hijacked there e-mail account and was pretending to be them. I never fell for it as I did not even know this person that well anyway but someone else that did could have fallen for it. never heard anything else but it does make you wonder.
