My wife and her mate are thinking of opening some kind of Cafe/Restauarnt - any advice....?

Hi,

My wife and her mate - both extremely good cooks, enjoy working with people with backgrounds in catering and finance - want to open a cafe/restauarant. Does anyone have any advice to give on what to expect in terms of beureacracy (we expect a nightmare - but how much of one ?) Does anyone have any advice like 'Forget It !' Any advice at all on any aspect of this idea would be greatly appreciated.
