They would like to break their journey for a couple of nights somewhere between Paris and La Rochelle and have asked for some recommendations. They are looking for hotel / B&B accomodation somewhere "interesting". The party is from Norway, and will include small children. Any suggestions of venue would be most welcome. Jac Posted February 22, 2004 Share Posted February 22, 2004 we live in the countryside near Saumur and we have self catering accommodation if they would like with pool and vineyard and woodland. if they would prefer a hotel i can highly recommend the following L'Oree des Bois - Tel : 02 41 38 85 45 - lovely people and excellent food - only few bedrooms in sleepy village approx 15 mins drive from Saumur town. hope this is of interest and help. we are about 3 hours south of Paris.
