Magic1
Ok I expect you have all seen this topic before, but we are new to this forum, and have a studio apartment on the lower floor of our home that we have just finished renovating and would like to let out to holiday makers. Obviously we live in France, and were wondering if firstly we need to register as a gite or something, and secondly how we go about paying tax on the earnings from it. We are registered with the Hotel des impots as we have been here for 2 years, we have a UK pension which is taxed in the UK but we fill out the French tax forms every year just to keep them happy.Any thoughts or advice would be gratefully received. JudyM
If you search in the archives on Tax on Gite income and Running a Gite, there is some extremely helpful information posted in December and January.JudyM
