Danglar
I have rec'd an enquiry to let my house for the whole month of February which I find strange. The house is in the Nord with a winter climate that is certainly not that of the Dordogne or Nice.My first thoughts go to someone planning to get their foot into the property and then not wanting to move out on the agreed date. I know, I am of a suspicious nature! What is the law like in France with regard to squatters? Has anyone had a bad experience ?I use the Chez Nous contract when I let during the summer, is it advisable to use the same even for a longer letting? And if it is of no risk to let for 4 or more weeks, what are the expectations of those wanting to rent with regards to the running costs and the rental price? Thanks for anty advice you could give.NinoDanglar

Causette
But your cottage is lovely - yes, it's colder in Normandy than Provence, but you have a cosy woodburner and your place is well equipped for winter lets. Still, if you decide not to have them, send them my way! JudyM (14)
