Popper
We have just finished a small gite and have received a Tax d'habitation form to fill in. The gite is not attached to the house but a separate building at the side.Could somebody tell me where I record this on my Tax d'habitation form, I am presuming it goes in 4B "pieces et annexes a usage professionnel" but wanted to make sure firstThanks
BJSLIV
I assume that the form is the dreaded H1 following completion of the works. If the permis related to the creation of an entirely separate property, the form will relate to that property, and it could form a new entity with its own registration and tax bill. Popper
Yes! It's the H1. The building was already set up for accommodation and only needed "cleaning up a bit" the permission was just for new windows, this is our first Habitation form so dont know what was put on the others by the previous owners
Maddie
We had one of these forms (or something similar) after the completion of a swimming pool. We were advised (by a local French estate agent) to just say that nothing had changed apart from the addition of the swimming pool. It was returned months ago and we never heard anything since. Our "gite" is an intergral part of our house anyway so we will not have any problems with separate bills, hopefully.
